Precautions for low pressure infusion processing

NSP PROTOTYPES Technology LIMITED TIME:2024/5/24
Low-pressure infusion processing is a new process used in the production of rapid molded products. It has the advantages of high efficiency, short production cycle, simple process, and low cost. It is suitable for small batch processing and simple-structure covering parts and large thick-walled and Production of products with uneven wall thickness. When performing low-pressure infusion processing prototypes, you need to pay attention to the following points:

Material preparation: Make sure that the two-component PU polyurethane materials used meet the requirements. They are mixed under a certain temperature and pressure and then injected into the mold.

Mold design: The mold should be designed for low-pressure infusion, taking into account the structural characteristics of the product and the flow characteristics of the material to ensure that the product can be completely filled and solidified.

Temperature control: During the pouring process, the temperature of the mold needs to be controlled to ensure that the material can quickly react and cross-link and solidify in the mold.
low pressure perfusion
Pressure adjustment: Although it is low-pressure infusion, it is still necessary to ensure that there is enough pressure to fully fill the mold with the material, while avoiding excessive pressure that may cause damage to the mold or cause stress within the product.

Accurate measurement: Before mixing, the materials must be accurately measured to ensure that the ratio of the two components is accurate to avoid affecting product quality.

Mold filling process: During the mold filling stage, the material flow should be monitored to ensure that no bubbles are generated and all parts are filled evenly.

Demoulding time: Master the appropriate demoulding time. Demoulding too early may cause the product to be incompletely cured, while demoulding too late may increase the difficulty of demoulding or damage the product.

Post-processing: The demoulded product may require polishing, cleaning or other post-processing work to meet final use requirements.
Safe operation: During the entire low-pressure filling process, operators should abide by safe operating procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment to prevent accidental injury or health risks.

low pressure perfusion
Environmental control: The working environment should be kept clean to prevent dust and impurities from entering the mold and affecting product quality.

Equipment maintenance: Regularly maintain and inspect low-pressure perfusion equipment to ensure its good operating condition and reduce the probability of failure.

Mold trial and debugging: Before mass production, mold trial and debugging should be carried out to verify whether the mold and process parameters are appropriate and ensure product quality and consistency.

Generally speaking, low-pressure infusion processing is suitable for small-volume production fields such as automobile models and accessories, medical equipment casings, toys, digital products, home electronics, and fitness equipment. By strictly controlling all aspects of the processing process, we can ensure that the quality of the final product meets the design and use requirements.
